BA in Japanese from Oxford University.
MA in Music Theatre from Goldsmiths College, London University.
After a miscellany of jobs - actor, teacher, cleaner, agricultural worker, cowhand, supermarket worker, gardener, builder, ceramicist - Ivo began writing full-time in 1987.
In addition to scripts, plays and fiction Ivo has written for many publications including the Ecologist, the THES, the Daily Mail, the Sunday Telegraph, the Daily Telegraph, the Catholic Herald, Harper’s and Queen, The Daily Express, The Literary Review, Parliamentary Monitor, The American Conservative, and the Journal of Consciousness Studies. He is Editor-at Large for Imprint Academic.
